Ooh-Aah Invitations is a Sydney based company specialising in hardcover wedding invitations

Established as a partnership between Sylvia & Indri in 2006 the idea was brought to life followning Indri's wedding in 2007.
Today, Ooh-Aah Invitations has established a home to over 200 designs, with over 50,000 invitations distributed across Australia and worldwide.
Ooh-Aah Invitations has a unique couture service of tailoring and investing design time with individual clients to create a magical introduction to their wedding day. Their eye for quality materials, ability to visualise the fine details and superior craftsmanship truly sets them apart.

Our History

Sylvia and Indri met when they were 16 years old and bonded over hot chips and love for chicken salt. By 24 they started Ooh-Aah Invitations as a small side business. Their drive to create sophisticated and unique invitations, explore high-end printing techniques and their desire to push their brand further led them to leave their full-time jobs. Fast forward 13 years later, here they with extensive knowledge of design and printing, and delivering stunning invitations all over the world – and eating the occasional bowl of hot chips and chicken salt.

Meet Indri

For most of my career before Ooh Aah, I was freelancing as a graphic designer, teaching computer courses and face painting. What I enjoyed the most was the thrill that my clients and students get when they see the results. That thrill which turns on joy and excitement is the root of our business name “Ooh Aah”. It’s always an honour to be part of a beautiful creation that sets an important event in people’s lives.

Growing up with a dad working in the print industry, I was exposed to the printing process at a young age. Looking at reams of colourful paper and watching paper come out of a machine with a printed picture excited me. My appreciation for paper goods and the art of high-end printing evolved into my adulthood. A graduate of Enmore Design Centre and a freelance graphic designer for many years, this experience allowed me to apply my passion and skills in typography, colour and detail in digital and print form.

When I’m not designing and producing invitations, I enjoy bushwalking, ice skating, cooking and eating out. I’m a wife to my amazing husband of 13 years and a mum to 3 beautiful children.

We strive to be able to offer affordable hardcover invitations without compromising design and quality.
